Built on the production floor.

Ammo Inspector was founded by industry veterans with more than three decades of combined ammunition manufacturing experience. The systems started as tools we built for our own lines because nothing on the market did the job at a price a manufacturer could justify. Now they are built for yours.

Give ammunition manufacturers of every size the precision of a full quality control department at a cost that pays for itself in a season.

Why manufacturers choose us

Designed by people who load ammunition

Every system was built to solve a problem we had on our own line: a collator that would not hold its rate, a weigh step that needed a full-time employee, brass nobody wanted to sort.

Six Sigma design, twelve sigma reliability

The systems are engineered to Six Sigma methods, and the weight inspection firewall is designed to a reliability of roughly one error in twelve billion rounds.

Standard or built to your line

Off-the-shelf models cover most lines. When they do not, we build to your components, your loader and your floor, down to one-off inspection machines for a single part feature.

Assembled in the United States

Every system is designed and assembled by hand in Cedar Park, Texas. Delivery is four to six weeks from order, a 25 percent refundable deposit is required with the order, and financing is available with approved credit.

Compact and high performance

Each system takes little floor space for what it does and runs at production rates: up to 3.4 cases per second fed, up to 28,800 cases per hour sorted, 3,600 parts per hour weighed to a tenth of a grain and 6,000 to 10,000 rounds per hour inspected.

Our story

The systems began as weight inspection equipment designed by ammunition manufacturers to improve the quality control, safety and consistency of their own ammunition. The collator came next, because the feed was the bottleneck, and the sorter after that, because sorting brass by hand was the job nobody could afford.

Ammo Inspector LLC was formed in 2025 to put those systems, now the AccuFeed, AccuSort, AccuWeigh and AccuVision lines, into other manufacturers' hands. The vision inspection system was completed in 2026 on the same platform as the weigh system, so one line can run both.

We are headquartered in Texas and Arkansas and have shown the equipment running live at SHOT Show.

What we hold to

Precision

The smallest inconsistency is the one that matters. A tenth of a grain is the standard, not the goal.

Reliability

A machine that stops is worse than no machine. Anti-jam feeding and lights-out operation are design requirements, not options.

Straight dealing

Specifications are what the machine does, quotes are itemized, and we tell you when a standard system is not the right fit.

Why quality control matters

Out-of-spec ammunition leads to recalls, damaged firearms and injured shooters. A manufacturer's reputation is built one round at a time and lost in one box. Automated, recorded inspection on every round is how that risk is removed instead of managed.
